Wifi Switcher 0.0.6 is an application for our Nokia N900 with which we can save enough battery, it turn off the WiFi radio by kernel module unloading.
Wifi Switcher is a plugin that is installed in the statusbar, and from there we can turn off or on the WiFi radio.

This is amazing! I don’t have a data plan. I was sick of my phone always asking me to connect to a data connection when using the camera or maps. This stops all that nonsense. The offline mode of the phone kills everything. This just stops the phone from searching for wifi. Thanks!
