WhatsApp Messenger gets a new update for Nokia Symbian devices. This is version 2.6.61, an update with which we can finally put emoticons in our status.

in germany there is no 2.6.61 but the 2.6.56

on the N8 with Belle on this update is kind of a downgrade when in whatsapp, inside a chat and i get a message from the person. It shows that i have a new message even though its read coz im inside the chat. Then on old versions while whatsapp is open and you get a message the tone would automatically change to just a silent beep but in the new one it just plays your normal loud tone, when im using whatsapp it was nice for the tone to be soft..
So im rather skipping this version and staying on the previous one!
Full of bugs on Nokia N8:
1. Cut & paste function no longer possible.
2. You can’t move the cursor left or right, meaning if you have any mistake in typing your message, you have to backspace delete all the way.
