Since the last firmware updates, the internet browser still refuses to turn to portrait mode although the ‘Automatic Rotation’ box had been checked. About a week ago, Apps Manager failed to updates. It states ‘Operation Failed’. Tried to reset to original factory setting does’t do any good. Did anyone face the same problem as me?.If it’s the case how do u rectify it?.

For US the latest PR1.2 version is 10.2010.19-1.002 but I don’t find any new features which are mentioned in PR release. Portrait mode, virtual keyboard etc. Can i install the UK version or will that cause problem?
why would ypu want to install the uk version? there is no difference between the us and uk version. your not the only one who didnt get all those things promised. we have all missed out!
now its a waiting game to see if nokia release 1.3. if they do then there is some hope for an n900 future. if they dont then n900 is dead unless meego get a true go ahead and a full meego version is released without any bugs and errors. which could take another year because its still under developement!!
since i have had my n900 it seems to be a phone for programmers that use us the user as guinie pigs for software, yet all other phones have already established its software ie android, apple symbian, htc. this needs to be addressed. if i wanted to do programminig on the run i would be better off using my laptop marks out of 10 will be 2 only because i can use it as a phone
