Finally we can start testing the first version of Swype for our Nokia N97 or N97 Mini. Swype provides a faster and easier to input text on any screen.
According to its developers, with Swype we can get 40 words more per minute than any other text application. The application is designed to work across a variety of devices such as phones, tablets, game consoles, kiosks, televisions, virtual screens and more. It now supports English, Spanish French and Brazilian.

To download Swype from Nokia Beta Labs we must have an account Ovi. Once installed the application to reboot your device.

I use slideit keyboard, couldn’t get swype to work on my 5800. Slideit is awesome once you get the hang of it. Definitely a faster way to input text. I’m using it to write this post.

actually not working on my n97 mini, even after some resets…
it works just fine on the n97. did you turn it on from the swype settings?
i just download it and turnd it on i reboot my phone and it still doesn’t have efect
