To install this you need to have rootsh installed. If you don’t have it yet please install it through the Program Manager (with maemo extras enabled). Also you need to have a memory card inserted in the N900.

  • First you need to get the files from the original Starcraft CD with Stargus: http://sourceforge.net/projects/stargus/
  • Download Stargus
  • Put your Starcraft CD in.
  • Install Stargus and when you’re asked for select the CD-Rom drive.
  • When finished exit Stargus and go to the directory, where Stargus was installed (C:Program FilesStargus)
  • Copy the CONTENT of the Data directory to your memory card to memorycard:gamesstratagus
  • Next you have to download this file: zehjotkah.ddl.at/stratagus-0.1-4_armel.deb
  • Copy this file to the root directory of your memory card.
  • Open X-Terminal on the N900 and type in the following:
    root
    cd /media/mmc1/

Keep in mind, this isn’t what it appears to be.
It’s a generic RTS game engine interfacing the original Starcraft data files to make it appear as Starcraft but it’s not working like Starcraft, if it even plays or function at all.
There is no borders or collition detection, unit will walk cross water in terrain as if it’s not even there etc etc.

The best thing it can do is to look close enough to starcraft for you to take pics and say, “look I have Starcraft on my N900″ even tho it would be a lie.

This is a beta, no campaigns and as far as I know not all units are fully mapped

@Mike Jing: I have this installed on my n900 and i gotta say it works perfectly and it doesnt have the problems you are claiming it has. The only problem is you can only play skirmish cause the campaigns arent it, but other then that i find no issue with textures or anything of the sort. Maybe you should install it first and play it rather then badmouthing without even testing it. That or maybe you messed up your installation somewhere and its just bugged
