
Nokia launched the Chinese market a mobile phone for 3G standard chinese. The terminal 3G, the TD-SCDMA, will be launched on the market before the end of the year 2009. It is a Smartphone based on Symbien and will have an average price. This mobile phone will be developed between Nokia and China Mobile. With this mobile phone, Nokia seeks enter completely in the Chinese market.
The three operators in China that have 3G licenses are China Unicom, China Telecom and China Mobile. AND each of them has a different standard.
So far, the mobile phone manufacturers have not wanted produce models that functions with the standard TD-SCDMA because, although it is very supported by Beijing, this system is used in very few countries.
