Nokia to do a competition increasingly strong to the iPhone 3GS with the Nokia N97. And a proof of this is the recently appointed UK General Manager Nokia for UK, Mark Loughran.
He has declared: “The new iPhone is an evolution rather than a revolution and for people trying to decide whether to get a Nokia N97 or an iPhone, it down to a decisión on performance and value for money”.
Also he has declared that the N97 will “outperform” the iPhone 3GS due to its best camera, radical change in styling and low tariffs.
Do you think that it is better, the iPhone 3GS or the Nokia N97?
I prefer N97 than iPhone, as N97 has more features and function that can be worked as a Windows Mobile based PDA, also have more softwares to be chosen, but iPhone does not have. You can install iPhone interface theme onto N97, but unable to install N97 interface onto iPhone.
Dude are you insane who would want to install the pathetic N97 interface on the IPhone. Plus talking about apps the App Store for IPhone has 150000 apps where do u stay under a rock.
Plus N97 has 128 RAM which is pathetic
I totaly agree with Rahul Kadukar. Iphone is a much better phone then n97. Nokia has failed to deliver on the N97…so many problems i have encountered with the n97 from scratched camera lens slider to a broken keypad lock button to lack of internal memory all this in 5 months of use.N97′s 32gb memory is about all that higlights the phone.
Yes N97 has a good camera…outstsanding for 5mp….But Nokia should have seriously but more thought and effort into the protection of the lens. I have a totaly scratched lens from dust particles or grit ending up under the slider of the lens which has cause scratch streaks on the phones Lens.

well n97 could’ve been much better for sure but to be honest:
- the so called interface on the iphone is just a menu structure. no calendar on a homescreen e.g. just nice and neat transitions which no one needs…
- 150000 aps. wow. what a large number. and who the f*** needs 99% of this unuseful crap? no doubt ovi store has the same percentage of crap apps to be fair.
- camera, sending music to a radio, battery life, qwerty are just a few arguments…
