Nokia has bought the German company of software Cellity. With this acquisition, Nokia wants to further develop its area of social networking. Cellity is a developer of software for mobile phones in Hamburg (Germany) and with a staff of 14 workers.

The agreement between Nokia and Cellity is now closed, but until the third quarter of this year, it is not incorporated the staffing of Cellity the Unit of Services from Nokia. The work of Cellity is to provide storage for all contacts of a user in a safe place. This is an easy way to connect users through the mobile phone and Internet.
Christof Hellmis, vice president of the area of services from Nokia, has declared: “cellity has a very talented and innovative team, which we are very happy to have on board at Nokia. With this acquisition, we can accelerate our service development in some of our core areas”
