Mussorgsky 0.4 is an application for our Nokia N900 to edit the metadata and album cover of audio files directly from our N900.

Fantastic application to install, because you can also download automatically and add the album cover on the Internet.

Mussorgsky is available in the Extras-Devel repository. To learn more about repositories, click here.

Its about time we had something like this as the N900 confuses albums of similar names and uses the wrong album art. Really hard to change without reformatting and installed the o/s
one thing i don’t like it’s the fact that you can’t choose your own photo to use for album art :S, sometimes the first google images aren’t the right ones, pisses me off
some better intergration with the media player would be nice too. i don’t like having too many applications for minor things.
please I need to install this Mussorgsky but when I install it on my nokia N900 it tells me that I need Python-Mutagen and this python does not exist what should I do? thank you for your help

It would be nice if we can select a local image for album art
Where do I download Mussorgsky?
You you should change the blog subject title Mussorgsky for Nokia N900 to more better for your webpage you create. I liked the post nevertheless.
Hi. I’ve downloaded it and I have it running, but I cannot get ANY album thumbnails showing other than the generic black/white one on the far right. Can someone please tell me how I can change the URL on Mussorksy to look up albums from CD Universe or Amazon or even Google for example? I have an internet connection everytime when I try and run it, but it just does not bring back anything. I can use the Meta Data editor though… thanks in advance.
