FrontView for Nokia N900

With the FrontView application for our Nokia N900 we can turns our N900 into a very complete document scanner.

Features:

 

  • Image de-skewing – Convert perspective view image of hand written drawing / notes to front view
  • Paper auto-detection
  • Manual/ semi-automated detection mode for complex image
  • e.g Use stylus to draw out the input region, the region will be corrected by FrontView900 automatically.
  • Misc features: image crop , rotation , …
  •  

    Its operation is very simple, in the application there are three sample images that will help us understand how it works.

      Just tried this with some papers at works, this is f-in AWESOME!!! Compared this program with a friends iphone who got a similar program..this is WAY better.

      How to use it.
      It works with eamples but when I take a picture how to get the piictunre in to that application. I cannot find any tools

      Hi folks…i got all repositories installed as far as i can tell.Yet when i look for frontview it is not in the massive list.Can anybody help please?

      I am still a bit puzzled, is there any intelligence behind the image edition. I understood I can select text region, but after that is a bit blurry. what exactly do I get, an image or a document? can I perform search on the content?
