FapMan is an application manager for our Nokia N900, faster than application manager of the N900. Also, if you do not like the new Application Manager of firmware PR 1.2, now is the time for change it
.

FapMan (Faster Application Manager) is available in the Extras-Devel repository. To learn more about repositories, click here.

Does it separate the installed programs by repository?
So I could know wich program is instaled in roots and not having a problem when updating phone?
I have the repo installed but am unable to find it please help
Awesome! it’s a lot quicker than the default application manager.
Hi th3mi5tingl1nk,
You have to search for it in the application manager, it’s called Faster Application Manager, FapMan is just the abbreviated name for it!

i check this… the updated app manager is sucks, amazingly slow, cannot search, and sort by name or size…
Its working fine. It seems a lot quicker than the default one. portrait also looks fine. Why dont you add a setting to enable portrait ? a filter for repository would make this app very nice. Thanks
It seems to be fast, but it isn’t able to install anything. The log says it depends on whatever an this whatever ist not going to be installed. Same when I try apt-get.
The original app manager is slow but working
