Dukto is an application to send or receive files very easily between our Nokia N8 or any other Symbian^3 device, with any PC (Windows, Macintosh and Linux) or vice versa, through a WiFi connection.
We can only install the application on the phone and start selecting what we want to transfer, either a file or text. We can also, recommended it, install the client/server on PC, click here to select the operating system and install the application on the PC.
Use it is very simple and requires no configuration, simply start the application and select what to transfer.
Dukto is available free on the Ovi Store, and is open source (http://dukto.googlecode.com/).

sorry but No good for use .
but it can easily crash you N8, no possibility to see transferred file to N8, but you can see & delete your file system even hidden files,
can not change the default folder, but you can create a 1000 folder a you can not remove it again,
N8 file system crahser .. do not use it …

SymSMB is 100% better than this program, it crashes a lot and it has many bugs. I used the SymSMB in my nokia 5530 and even it says that it’s for symbian S60v5 and it’s not compatible with SYmbian3 it works perfect, it allows to watch the contents of your n8 phone in your windows explorer window as you were browsing a network computer… you can find it elsewere… I’m using the version 4.00
under testing…
after testing I faced a problem, wasn’t able to send a file from N8 (Anna) to PC (Dukto R4) when I select send file on my phone, it gives me “File Sent” without giving me the option to select a file. while sending a text work great, also sending a file from PC to phone work perfectly.
Only problem with sending a file from Phone to PC.
Any solution??

I am using SymNas and SymSync. Way better than Dukto. Those programs are faster, simplier and more convenient.
