With the Callnotify application we can see in our Nokia N900 the number of missed calls and SMS received in a small icon, up to 5, above 5 show “+ 5″.

The icon will disappear when the missed calls or SMS messages have been viewed or the yellow window is closed.
Callnotify is available in the Extras-Devel repository. To learn more about repositories, click here.

Very interesting piece of software. But can anyone tell me what means that icon with an arrow pointing up with thats parentheses on it?
Very nice. But i am waiting for a plugin that repeats the sms tone after 5 minutes or so, when you don’t read a new sms.
@Anahuac de Paula Gil;
That icon is for a internet connection that isn’t wifi.
@maffe_paul el, the current version repeats the notification (visual, sound or vibration) every pre-set interval.
i installed the programme but it doesn`t work. i don`t get an icon in my statusbar… what am i doeing wrong? could someone help me?
After my initial install, everytime i go to n900 settings, then scroll to the bottom to extras then click on call notify, i would get an “internal error message” and app would not run, so i uninstalled it. A few days later i tried again, and works great, no problems.
