Block calls on Nokia N900

Sometimes we can want block certain incoming calls in our Nokia N900, for differents reasons . With this script simple we can do it.

bloc unwanted n900 Block calls on Nokia N900

Prerequisites:

Python libraries installed, download from Extras-Devel repository (maemo-python-device-env), more on Extras-Devel repository.

Create a. Txt file with the numbers that you want to block:+902332211
+900111222
+999888777

and save as BlockedCallers.txt.

Installation:

Download file callblock.py

Execute callblock.py file:python / home / user / MyDocs / callblock.py &

Done!

is it known if it’s possible to block unknown numbers using this script?

To unblock Unknown numbers just type into your .txt file Unknown number and it will be blocked I have tryed this and it worked

it doesn’t work at all. bastards are still calling. don’t waste you time trying to block with this script. (firmware 1.3)
